Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage billing processes, ideally with law firm experience. This role involves preparing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain efficient billing operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and distribute accurate client invoices, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and timelines. Track and manage billing adjustments, write-offs, and client payments, resolving discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with attorneys and finance teams to verify time entries, rates, and expenses for billing accuracy. Maintain detailed billing records and generate reports to support financial audits and client inquiries.

Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of billing experience, preferably in a law firm setting with knowledge of legal billing practices. Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant) and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
