We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing to join our team and help ensure accurate and timely billing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for billing purposes
- Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or obtain missing information
Requirements and Skills:
- Must have experience as a medical billing and coding specialist
- Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Impeccable organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency
- Multitasker.
- Knowledge of medical insurance.
- Attention to detail.
- Medisoft & Practice Fusion experience a PLUS.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays.
