Job Description

Description We are looking for detail-oriented Billing Clerks to join our client’s team here in Orlando, Florida. This Contract-to-Permanent position requires an individual who is skilled in managing billing operations, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records. If you have experience with accounting software and a strong understanding of billing processes, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Use computerized accounting software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to perform billing and reporting tasks.
  • Manage billing, collection, and reporting activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Investigate and address customer inquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments or irregularities and take appropriate action.
  • Prepare and generate accounting statements and financial reports as required.
  • Update customer demographic and product information in company systems.
  • Send necessary documentation to customers for account updates, service changes, or termination requests.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments.
  • Assist with special projects and provide monthly status updates on assigned tasks. Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems and computerized billing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Experience in handling billing operations and generating billing statements.
  • Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.
  • Skilled in answering inbound calls and addressing customer concerns.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
