We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced GrantBilling Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for atalented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in thefinancial management of our grants. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for managing all aspects of grant billing andcompliance, including adherence to budgets and funder policies,auditing of grant expenses, and communication with fundingagencies. This position requires a high level of attention todetail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understandingof financial principles.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects ofgrant billing and compliance, ensuring adherence to budgets andfunder policies. Conduct regular audits of grant expenses to ensureaccuracy and compliance with funder requirements. Communicateeffectively with funding agencies regarding billing practices,seeking clarification and making necessary changes as required.
Track hours related to grants to ensure accurate billing andcompliance with funder requirements. Prepare financial reports forinternal and external stakeholders, providing insight into grantexpenditure and compliance. Collaborate with other departments toensure accurate and timely billing of grants. Stay current withchanges in funder policies and regulations, ensuring theorganization remains compliant. Provide guidance and training toother team members on grant billing and compliance processes.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in grant billing,compliance, or a related role. Strong understanding of budgetingprinciples and financial management. Proven experience withauditing and compliance processes. Exceptional communicationskills, with the ability to effectively liaise with fundingagencies. Strong attention to detail and the ability to managemultiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in financial softwareand Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of theNon profit industry, including funder policies and regulations.
