Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Orlando Neurosurgery, P.A. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing process and ensuring timely collections. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our practice’s financial health and enhancing patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Process medical billing for services rendered by the practice. Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations and standards. Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on outstanding claims. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and disputes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and documentation. Requirements Proven experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of ICD-10, and medical terminology. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medical collection processes is preferred. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance representatives.
