Maitland, FL Description:
The Revenue Cycle Management Analyst will work under the general supervision of the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management in the corporate office of a Skilled Nursing Facility provider. This position is responsible for ensuring that patient billing and processing of payment receipts are consistently completed timely and in accordance with policy. The employee will minimize bad debt, improve cash flow and effectively manage accounts receivables. This position will coordinate effective management of revenue cycle activities across the organization to include, but not limited to advance payments, billing of all pay sources, collections, and financial reporting.
Duties:
Ensure accuracy of deposits, demographic and other information entered into the patient billing system. Bill all assigned pay sources timely per schedules. Compile and prepare various status reports for management to analyze trends and make recommendations. Provide monthly report on the status of debit balances. Provide monthly report on the status of credit balances. Responsible for ensuring the timeliness of processing and correction of rejected claims. Establish and maintain a regular process for follow up on patient accounts which are pending approval for third party coverage. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Applicant must have excellent accounting skills, be detail oriented, have outstanding organizational skills, and be results-oriented. Applicant should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple employees and various types of personalities. Applicant needs excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to rules. Multi-tasking and prioritizing are a must in this ever-changing environment. Applicant must demonstrate the highest levels of maturity and professionalism, as he/she will be given a high level of information access. Position requires highest levels of ethics and morals due to industry regulations and government authority. Prior experience with Point Click Care required. Prior experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Insurance billing required.
