We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. This Contract to Permanent position involves conducting detailed financial work in a multi-fund and multi-account environment, while leveraging Oracle systems for accurate and compliant transactions. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure seamless invoice processing and disbursement activities.
Responsibilities:
? Review and audit invoices, purchase orders, and accounting records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
? Conduct pre-audit evaluations and validate complex invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and funding requirements.
? Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, providing recommendations to stakeholders for improved processes.
? Utilize Oracle systems to manage and troubleshoot payables module functionalities, ensuring operational efficiency.
? Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support financial reporting and audit processes.
? Administer and maintain relational databases for data entry and retrieval, including specialized programming tasks.
? Oversee the disbursement of funds in accordance with Florida statutes, rules, and regulations.
? Train and guide entry-level staff on accounts payable procedures and system functionalities.
? Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

? Minimum of five years of experience in automated accounting systems, including general ledger and accounts payable functions. ? Proficiency in Oracle applications and ERP systems, with demonstrated expertise in accounts payable processes. ? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial scenarios. ? Associate?s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field with three years of relevant experience, or Bachelor?s degree with one year of relevant experience. ? Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance standards. ? Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders. ?
