PHC is seeking a friendly, energetic Insurance Eligibility Coordinator to join our Billing team. Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Lead and the Controller, the Insurance Eligibility Coordinator is a liaison for patients and the Practice by obtaining accurate information and updating payment systems and the Electronic Medical Record. Functions as a key member of the billing team and assists with re-processing insurance denials for payment. Adherence with all rules and regulations that are related to medical billing practices.

Requirements:

2 years related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures for patient billing. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Well organized, detail oriented, adaptable and flexible with change. Strong Communication and Service Excellence skills. Self motivated with a quality focus.
