Full Job Description Overview:
Do you enjoy working with PPO dental insurance? Filing claims, claims follow up, account audits, insurance questions and posting payments? Does it bring a smile to your face when a claim is paid or a patient understands more about their insurance or a balance? If so, look no further. Our Dental Associates FL – Winter Haven office is looking for a full time insurance and billing coordinator to join our team. We offer competitive wages, bonuses, and excellent benefits and all of the dental insurance tools right at your fingertips. Please note that this is not a remote position . It is a position in the office, working alongside a dedicated team that cares about maximizing our patients benefits and helping them get the care they need. Hours are Mon-Thurs alternate Fri 8:00-5:00. Candidates must have prior dental billing experience to be considered.
Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities for this position are: reviewing unpaid insurance claims report; identifying outstanding insurance; updating insurance/collection reminder calendar; reviewing insurance explanation of benefits for payment accuracy; insurance plan set up in QSI; update fee schedules; billing – file all insurance – primary/secondary with insurance companies; confirm pre-authorizations for treatment; and be a back-up to the front desk.
Qualifications:
1 – 2 years’ of experience working with dental or medical insurance billing Strong knowledge of dental insurance, preferred Full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty) Excellent phone skills Superior customer service skills Additional benefits for full-time employees: Medical Dental services Life insurance Vision Paid time off 6 paid holidays off 401k to name a few #LI-CN1
