Health Center Billing Liaison 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 8400 Vamo Road, Sarasota, FL 34231 Bay Village of Sarasota, Inc. is looking for a Full-Time Skilled Nursing Biller (“Health Center Billing Liaison”) .
- All aspects of Skilled Nursing billing, performance of Private Pay billing and coordination of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care/Insurance billing with Third Party Billing team.
- Cross-trained to perform private billing for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, as coverage for staff absences.
- Current knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Hospice and Insurance program coverages for Skilled Nursing Part A and Part B, and ability to explain coverages to patients/family.
- Compliance with federal and state laws regarding Skilled Nursing billing.
- Experience with obtaining insurance verifications for SNF care.
- Ability to work with Clinical Staff and Third-Party Billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Ability to coordinate with Third party Billing Team to resolve denied claims, correct and resubmit claims.
- Experience with census reconciliation by payer type and monthly billing processes.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable monitoring and collection.
- Experience with resolving billing complaints.
- Experience with Patient Trust accounts.
- Experience with billing computer systems, Microsoft Excel and Word.
