Full Job Description Description:
Southeast Elevator is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Billing Coordinator / Customer Service Representative to join our Fort Pierce team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately processing service billing, handling incoming customer service calls, and working closely with our service and accounting teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Billing:
Generate and issue accurate invoices for completed service work Review technician work orders, timecards, and materials to ensure proper billing Track open service jobs and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation Collaborate with service managers and field technicians to resolve any billing questions or discrepancies
Customer Service:
Answer incoming service-related phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Provide timely updates to customers regarding service appointments and job status Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care Maintain detailed customer account notes and service records
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with the service department to confirm job completion before billing Work with the accounting team to reconcile invoices and support collection efforts Assist with month-end billing processes and reporting Contribute to improvements in billing accuracy and service workflows
Requirements:
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in billing, administrative support, or customer service (service industry experience preferred) Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with billing or service software is a plus
