Job Description
Biller/PFR 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Cogdell, GA GENERAL Position Overview Responsible for the insurance billing process between the hospital and insurance companies, federal agencies and third party payers. Collects payments from commercial insurance companies, state and federal agencies. Answers patient payment questions and is responsible for resolution of patient complaints, inquiries and billing adjustments if necessary. Not a remote position. Employee must work on site.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School graduate or equivalent required Experience One to two years of hospital patient accounting and/or insurance experience highly preferred Knowledge Of Basic computer skills a must; able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, medical terminology utilized in medical billing Licensure/Certification OTHERS Personality / Interpersonal Skills Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
