Accounts Payable Analyst
Temp to Perm
Smyrna GA 6 Degrees Group Our client is hiring an Entry Level Accounts Payable Analyst to play a crucial role within the Accounting Department. This position is responsible for timely and accurate vendor payments, process improvement, problem-solving, and ensuring financial controls. The Analyst will manage complex vendor accounts, facilitate partnerships for training and issue resolution, and enhance processes through collaboration with vendors, buyers, and locations. This is the perfect stepping stone for a recent Business graduate hoping to get a foot in the door!
Responsibilities:
Manage complex vendors, EDI and paymnts, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements using SAP and Excel tools, including vlookups and Pivot Tables, to recover credits and ensure invoice accuracy.
Resolve complex Accounts Payable issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business with a focus on accounting or finance.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proven track record of delivering superior customer service and adapting to changing priorities.
