Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…We are seeking a Billing & Collections Analyst to join our team in the Self-Storage Business Area. This hybrid role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end billing operations and proactive collections activities—approximately 75% collections and 25% billing. You will work closely with internal teams, Relationship Executives, and clients to ensure billing accuracy and timely collections while sustaining a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.
What you will do…
Collections (50%)

  • Review accounts to identify reasons for overdue payments and execute strategic collection actions.
  • Communicate with clients to provide invoice copies, check, ACH, and Credit Card instructions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding payment status or invoice support.
  • Research and apply payments in NetSuite.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and accelerate cash application.
  • Analyze customer accounts and payment trends, report on AR aging, and collections status.
    Billing (50%)
  • Lead day-to-day billing operations, including generating and distributing invoices, credit memos, and adjustments.
  • Analyze billing work to ensure invoices are accurate and properly reflect the services provided.
  • Review invoice requests and verify against contract and payment terms before sending them to clients.
  • Work with Sales Executives to finalize invoices and maintain billing accuracy.
  • Monitor the billing inbox and ensure timely responses to inquiries and requests.
  • Update client billing profiles and look for ways to streamline invoicing processes.
  • Stay current on time and billing policy changes, and communicate relevant updates to the team.
  • Maintain adherence to engagement letters, contractual billing terms, and company policy.
    What we expect of you…
    Education & Experience
  • 4+ years of progressive billing and collections experience in a high-volume environment.
  • 3+ years working with NetSuite and banking portals.
  • Experience with the full Quote-to-Cash transaction lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite system is a big advantage in the interview process.
    Skills & Competencies
  • Detail-oriented with strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
  • High level of discretion with confidential information.
  • Coachable, dependable, and adaptable to change.
  • Customer-service focused with a professional demeanour and problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to work extra hours as needed to meet collection deadlines.
