The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining accounts receivable. Familiarity with medical billing, governmental accounting, and double entry bookkeeping is highly desirable. Responsibilities Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner Manage accounts receivable, ensuring all payments are processed accurately Analyze billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients Utilize ICD-10 coding for medical billing purposes when applicable Perform credit analysis to assess client payment capabilities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding billing issues Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies Qualifications Previous experience in medical billing or financial services preferred Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and procedures Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping practices Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data effectively Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry Knowledge of governmental accounting principles is a plus Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team If you are passionate about billing processes and have the necessary skills to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
