Business unit Southeast Series Schedule Full-time Lockton Benefits Offerings Click Here Workplace In Office Your Responsibilities Centralized Billing Unit Analyst The Centralized Billing Unit Analyst will provide accounting related technical and transaction support for the Southeast Series Property & Casualty operation. Analyst will be responsible for internal stakeholder and external client/partner communication around invoicing, receivables, surplus lines filings, and premium financing. Additionally, each Analyst will be provided an opportunity to develop a specialized skill and ownership in either quality control, bulk bill, or premium finance coordination. Finally, opportunities exist for rotations across each specialization along with cross-training opportunities with the Technical Services Unit. We are seeking candidates to fill the following specialized roles in addition to shared job responsibilities: CBU Analyst, Quality Control Check all billings prior to them being sent to the client Send invoices to the client CBU Analyst, Bulk Bill Specialist Complete billing in Nexsure for all bulk bill accounts Complete the bulk bill allocation tracker Complete bulk bill check request Complete Doc bills CBU Analyst, Premium Finance Request premium finance quotes from premium finance companies Check premium finance quotes for accuracy Work with Premium finance companies for timely and accurate receipt of funds.
CBU Analyst Shared Job Responsibilities:
Liaison for invoicing between Southeast Series and Kansas City Accounting Department Distribute Carrier Statements to Southeast Series Update billing system with renewal policy information Add or renew policies in Nexsure Complete billing in Nexsure (includes endorsements and audits) Complete check requests File Surplus Lines Taxes as needed Use all necessary system functions and verify data is accurate Follow up on client receivables and premium payables File correspondence and other documents Set up new clients and policy information Carrier i nteraction Nexsure data governance
Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; or equivalent education and/or work experience High aptitude for accuracy in mathematical calculations Previous experience with Nexsure Billing System preferred but not required Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines required Above average verbal, written and interpersonal skills required Strong attention to detail required General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverage’s desired Corporate or agency experience in commercial insurance services desired. General understanding of Nexsure Management System or Comparable Agency Management System desired Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required; PowerPoint desired.
