A/R Specialist 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Suwanee, GA 30024 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal departments. Responsibilities Process and record all incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of clients. Manage medical collections, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Perform coding of invoices and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Utilize telemarketing skills to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with the financial services team to support corporate accounting functions. Assist in revenue cycle management processes to optimize cash flow. Maintain proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks. Ensure adherence to SOX compliance standards in all accounting practices. Qualifications Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role within finance or accounting. Strong knowledge of credit analysis and financial concepts. Familiarity with medical collection processes is preferred but not required. Proficiency in coding invoices and understanding of corporate accounting principles. Experience in revenue cycle management is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
