About the
Role:
Provide accounting assistant to several departments within the Accounting Office Deposit live checks into Wells Fargo for patient, clinic and miscellaneous receivables. Record and post all live checks in Intacct with proper general ledger coding and location. Sort and distribute all office mail and packages. Scan and forward live remittances from checks/mail to Avita Care Atlanta Enroll LISR patients into the Scriptcare portal and forward documentation to the pharmacy. Print, sort, and mail patient statements. Work aged patient balances performing write off’s per receivables procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned
About You:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of related accounting experience, including hands-on A/R experience Healthcare/Pharmacy industry experience preferred Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong knowledge of Excel Experience working with Accounting/Accounts Receivable software, Intacct experience a plus Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills Demonstrates strong professionalism and communication etiquette across written and verbal channels Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing accurate work in a timely, efficient manner Proactive in identifying and analyzing problems and providing solutions Ability in identifying and implementing process improvements is a plus At Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do. Pay range:
$18
- $27 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location.
