We are actively seeking a skilled and dependable Billing Specialist with hands-on experience using Notenetic EHR to join us immediately in a part-time, contractor role.
Position Overview:
We need a motivated and detail-oriented contractor who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has direct experience with Notenetic and a proven track record working with mental health billing, claims denials, and reimbursement recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and manage billing through Notenetic for mental health counseling services. Review, troubleshoot, and resubmit denied claims with necessary documentation. Follow up on unpaid or delayed claims and work toward full reimbursement. Identify trends and root causes in denials; recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance guidelines. Collaborate with internal staff to improve claim submissions and documentation accuracy. Maintain up-to-date records of claims activity and reporting.
Requirements:
Direct experience with Notenetic EHR (preferred) 2+ years of experience in mental health billing and claims management. In-depth knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes and denial resolution. Self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Availability to begin work immediately and commit to at least 10-15 hours per week.
