This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to delivering high-quality billing and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and review pre-bills, process invoice revisions, and finalize client invoices in accordance with firm and client guidelines. Submit electronic invoices through various e-billing platforms, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Maintain and update matter budgets, billing rates, and client-specific billing information. Communicate billing guidelines to attorneys and assist with compliance. Collaborate with file intake staff to ensure accurate maintenance of billing-related data. Assist with accounts receivable processes, including the identification and resolution of unidentified payments. Support month-end billing processes and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2 years’ experience in a billing role preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal billing software (e.g., Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E, or similar). Experience with e-billing platforms and electronic invoice submissions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
