JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to clinical staff. Demonstrates competence in organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization of data entry. Must pay close attention to detail and accuracy of data entered. Answer telephones appropriately and relay accurate messages in a timely manner. Verify insurance benefits and maintain documents for patient records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate. Must have fast and accurate typing/keyboarding skills. Must be able to handle large volumes of data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical and/or medical terminology experience preferred. Epic experience preferred. Medical billing experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 10 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
