Dental Insurance Coordinator Coastal Dentures & Implants Ocean Springs, MS 39564 Coastal Dentures & Implants has an exciting Dental Insurance Coordinator position available. Experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator Skills and Qualifications Applicant should have substantial knowledge of how dental insurance works Must be very detail orientated, reliable and trustworthy Strong communication, including writing, speaking and active listening Great customer service skills, including interpersonal conversation, patience and empathy Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills In-depth knowledge of industry best practices Basic math, bookkeeping and accounting skills Organization, time management and prioritization abilities Ability to be discreet and maintain the security of patient or customer information Effective computer skills to input to use bookkeeping and account management software in a timely and efficient manner Understanding of industry-specific policies, such as HIPAA regulations for health care Dental Insurance claims and billing experience required Responsibilities Managing insurance claims and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement Posting insurance payments and processing EOBs/ERAs Processing any secondary insurance claims Working insurance aging, and following up on any outstanding claims with carriers Customer service and organizational tasks to promote the financial health of our dental organization Accounts Payable Addressing payment inconsistencies or errors Collaborating with patients or customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve insurance inconsistencies and errors Patient/customer billing and statements Communicating with Accounts Receivable team and leadership concerning issues with claims submission and/or benefits verification Please contact Kelly Patterson at kelly.patterson@edgedentalsolutions.com, or call 252-933-4355.
