RESPONSIBILITIES

Located on site at the center serving full-time Maintain the following records: Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies Ensure patients medical insurance is accurate and up to date Prepare bills and invoices, and document amounts due to medical services Maintain billing software by updating rate change, and current collection reports Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers Establish and maintain security of medical records to ensure patient confidentiality on an ongoing basis. Maintain clean work station Computer proficiency; accurate and fast data entry; comfortable using email and internet applications. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Conduct audits

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Biller or Outreach Rehab Coder One of the following Credentials

CPC, RHIP, RHIA

(preferred)

• Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records
• Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accuracy and pays attention to detail

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
