The Patient Accounts Supervisor shall strive to ensure complete continuity of accuracy, productivity, and efficiency in the flow of accounts. Minimum of three years experience of hospital billing/management or supervisor experience required. Thorough knowledge of computer functions. Medical Terminology. Ability to read and interpret physician documentation. Knowledge of CPT-4 and

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Demonstrates leadership qualities and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to supervise personnel, implement policies/procedures and establish and maintain effective relationships with necessary agencies.

Hearing and verbal ability to communicate, manage, and coordinate various, multiple activities is required. Ability to be self-direct and flexible in working between departments. Visual acuity is required for use with PC’s and printouts. Manual dexterity is required for use with computer keyboards.
