Overview:

We are looking for a Billing Specialist HH to join our team. This role reports to the Manager Patient Accounts HH and is responsible for monthly billings to insurance companies and agencies and timely receipt of payments. Audit documentation specific to the EOB, and other documentation as assigned, and make recommendations to management accordingly Meet departmental productivity, timelines, and accuracy Utilize information gathered to facilitate alterations to the EMR documentation to prevent recurrence Collate local documentation data outcomes and utilize company-wide for QA improvements

About You:

Three years of Hospice and/or Home Care experience preferred Homecare Homebase experience Understand Hospice regulations and billing requirements for hospice care Federal and State specific regulations/guidelines Demonstrate initiative in researching and resolving issues Able to collect and process time-sensitive information from multiple sources Detail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Proficient with Microsoft Office projects with focus on Excel skills
