Role:

We arere seeking a detail-oriented •Medical Billing Specialist•to join our growing team and help us streamline our billing processes. The Medical Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in managing billing operations, ensuring accurate processing of medical claims, and working with patients and insurance companies to resolve any billing issues. If you have a strong background in medical billing, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Highly proficient use of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Accurately prepare, review, and process patient bills and claims for submission to insurance companies Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations Follow up on unpaid claims and manage account receivables Work closely with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing discrepancies Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA Maintain detailed records of patient billing and payments Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis Perform additional job duties as assigned Raintree experience desired

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing and coding Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices Proficiency with billing software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Full-time availability with a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance through flexible hours Knowledge of insurance regulations and claims processing Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
