Analysis skills Medical billing CPT coding Medical Billing Certification Phone etiquette Senior level Communication skills Full Job Description Medical Billing Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our healthcare client located in the Central Charlotte area. This will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity for our client. This will be a full cycle medical billing position, assisting with the front and backend of the billing cycle. Interested candidates must feel comfortable performing insurance verification, claim submissions, researching and analyzing denials, resubmitting and appeals, and collections. Understanding of Medicaid Insurance is a must, as well as other commercial insurances. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Medical Billing/Coding Certification Minimum five years full cycle medical billing experience Proficient working within multiple software systems, including EMR systems FQHC experience strongly desired Skills Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette Knowledgable of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, as well as all insurance payers, especially Medicaid Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines and production metrics as outlined by management Ability to work within multiple software systems and clearinghouses
Pay Details:
