Medical Billing and Coding Analyst Wilson Medical Group 3302 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896 Medical Billing and Coding Specialist requirements: Ability to Properly Code services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments Preparing and sending claims for payment Following up on denials Correcting rejected claims Posting charges Tracking payments Follow-up with insurance and patients Basic understanding of medical terminology Working knowledge of computer systems and relevant medical software. The ability to learn new programs. The ability to communicate effectively and professionally The medical billing process involves contacting patients for payment and answering questions. Medical Coding Certification and experience Medical Coding Certification or Associates Degree Medical Billing & Coding with at least 3 years required work experience preferred. Medical Billing experience required Reception Coverage Must be detail oriented, courteous, efficient and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
