In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring accurate and efficient claim processing within the healthcare sector. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input and update claim information into billing systems, ensuring data integrity. Process secondary healthcare claims in line with established guidelines. Examine and validate claim data for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to communicate and resolve inconsistencies or errors. Apply critical thinking skills to independently manage and resolve minor issues. Assist the billing department with data entry and reconciliation tasks on an as-needed basis. Maintain organized records and documentation to support billing operations. Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Strong critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve issues effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with healthcare billing or claims processing is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively relay information and resolve discrepancies.
