JOB SUMMARY BA

Sciences, a leading analytical testing laboratory, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a detailed-oriented environment and is looking for a role with a significant impact on our daily operations. This is a full-time, onsite position at our Salem, NH office. The standard hours for this position are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We provide comprehensive, detailed training to ensure your success.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Billing Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Process and review customer invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Verify and accurately bill all project expenses, including labor. Perform daily data review, validation, and pricing of new projects. Communicate effectively with project teams to verify data and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain organized project folders, including managing shared electronic files. Assist with financial reporting, including billing statistical reports, daily management reports, and emailing client documents.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual with: A High School Diploma or

GED. 1-2

years of related billing or accounting experience preferred. Demonstrated accuracy and diligence in electronic processing of invoices. The ability and dedication to prioritize and complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

SKILLS A

quick learner who takes pride in performing detailed tasks thoughtfully, accurately, and completely. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Loyal, self-motivated, and practices excellent time management. Strong interpersonal skills, adept at managing multiple tasks, and highly organized.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience using Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based accounting software.
