Medical Billing/Claims/Collections 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Mount Holly, NJ 08060 We are looking for an experienced Medical Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join our team in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in overseeing medical billing, claims, and collections processes. With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, you will lead efforts to ensure timely reimbursements and effective claims management.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee medical accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate billing and timely collection of payments. Process insurance claims, appeals, and authorizations with precision and adherence to guidelines. Utilize accounting software systems, including Allscripts, Cerner, and DDE, to streamline billing and claims processes. Monitor and resolve outstanding accounts, ensuring compliance with benefit and billing functions. Lead efforts to analyze and optimize workflows within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with insurance providers to address disputes and secure reimbursements. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts receivable and claims. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies in all billing and collection activities. Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, and claims management. Proficiency in using accounting software systems such as Allscripts, Cerner, and DDE. Strong knowledge of EHR systems and medical billing functions. Expertise in handling appeals, authorizations, and benefit functions. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and insurance providers. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in medical billing.
