Medical Billing Specialist Position Available In Camden, New Jersey

Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Voorhees, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient processing of medical claims and ensure accurate billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to accurately post payments and adjustments.
• Process electronic remittances and address claim rejections and denials efficiently.
• Communicate with insurance providers via phone calls and payor portals to resolve billing issues.
• Utilize ICD-10 codes to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance.
• Maintain meticulous records of all billing activities and update systems accordingly.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline billing processes and improve accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or claims.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timelines while adhering to company policies. Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing, including reading and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
• Proficient understanding of ICD-10 codes and their application in medical billing.
• Strong familiarity with claim administration and electronic remittance processing.
• Ability to work effectively with payor portals and communicate professionally with insurance companies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all billing tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
