Billing Clerk Position Available In Monmouth, New Jersey

Description Robert Half is partnering with one of its clients for an entry level billing role. You will be responsible for helping with processing/managing claims and assisting in the billing process for the organization. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with entry-level accounting experience looking to build out their billing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist fixed-income clients
• Process and oversee computerized billing transactions using accounting software.
• Respond to inbound calls and provide excellent customer service regarding financial inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and precise billing operations.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in billing and account records.
• Generate reports and summaries to support financial decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures in all billing activities.
• Support the implementation and use of accounting systems to streamline processes. Requirements
• Entry level accounting/billing experience or educational equivalent
• Familiarity with computerized billing processes and tools.
• Positive personality as role is customer facing.
• Excellent communication skills to handle inbound calls and client inquiries.
• Previous experience in finance administration or entry-level accounting roles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in billing and account management.
