We are a fast-paced specialty service contractor providing high-quality work to clients across several states. We take pride in delivering exceptional service with integrity, precision, and efficiency. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Biller to join our team and help ensure our projects are billed accurately and timely.
Position Summary:
The Biller will play a key role in the project lifecycle by preparing accurate and timely billing based on Job/Project data. This includes reviewing the original job bid, verifying staff hours and materials used, and confirming quality control documentation prior to invoicing. This position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to coordinate with Account/project managers and field staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Review original job bids to understand billing structure and scope Verify and compile field staff hours, material usage, and other billable items Coordinate with account/project managers and field staff to resolve discrepancies Ensure that all required documentation (QC, approvals, change orders, etc.) is complete and accurate prior to invoicing Generate and submit invoices in a timely manner Maintain records of billing and support documentation Work with accounting staff to resolve billing and collection inquiries Communicate with clients to address and resolve billing discrepancies or questions
Qualifications:
2+ years of billing or administrative experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred Familiarity with reviewing bids, time sheets, and materials documentation Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and billing/accounting software Excellent communication and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred:
Experience in construction or specialty contracting industries Knowledge of service-based project billing and documentation workflows
