Bertrand Chaffee Hospital:

Examines and bills all accounts receivable primary and secondary claims. Reviews mail corresondence, denials, and handles phone calls from insurance companies as well as from patients. Understands and maintains all phases of billing. Assist in analysis of open claims-verification of timely submission and claim resolution as needed. Timely filing of issues/denials preventing lost revenue. Assist in matintainig A/R over 120. Reviews all accounts receivable claims. Transmits all electronic claims. Prepares trial balance reports for inpatient, Medicare, Medicaid an other carriers. Processes denials and insurance explanation of benefits.

Requirements:

3 years of billing both professional and institutional claims, spanning all types of carriers to include Government, Medicare, Workers Compensation/NoFault and commercial carriers. Experience with eClinicalWorks, ClaimMaster and or HMS a plus.
