We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to help us scale and optimize our insurance claims process. You will play a key role in ensuring that claims are submitted correctly, rejections are handled efficiently, and that our billing workflows are continuously improving. What You’ll Do Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner using our internal systems Review and triage rejected or denied claims, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to correct and resubmit as needed Monitor claims through their full lifecycle and ensure prompt follow-up on unpaid or delayed items Identify recurring issues in claim rejections or denials and collaborate with team members to resolve root causes Document and improve internal billing processes, with a focus on reducing errors and increasing efficiency Provide insights and reports on claims performance and key metrics What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims submission, and claims denial management Familiarity with CPT codes, ICD-10, insurance guidelines, and common denial reasons Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and follow-through Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with clinical and operations teams Proactive mindset with the ability to propose and implement process improvements Experience with telehealth or specialty care billing is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Why Work With Us Flexible remote work Mission-driven team focused on transforming specialty care Opportunity to shape billing operations at an early-stage, high-growth healthcare startup Collaborative and supportive culture
