Associate Billing Manager New York Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists P.C. Roslyn, NY 11576 Associate Billing Manager New York Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists P.C. is seeking an Experienced Associate Billing Manager for their Roslyn, NY location! This is a full-time position within a medical office reporting directly to the Billing Manager responsible for assisting in the management of the revenue cycle, including the billing company as well as performing general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include:

Assists in overseeing billing company to ensure compliance and optimal performance. Work with billing company to assist in tracking down coding or billing issues including tracking outstanding issues and communicating with doctors to follow up on procedure questions. Work with and support collection company, tracking outstanding collections and communicating with doctors to follow up on procedure questions. Liaison between Surgeon/Hospital and group leaders on pre-admission surgical testing waivers. Assist with patient communication regarding collections and scheduling. Answer phones as needed. Performs other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 4 years of medical billing experience •Anesthesiology experience is a plus but willing to train the right person. Four or more years of progressively responsible experience in a business office or medical practice required. •Experience with an anesthesiology practice is a plus! Possess an intimate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Possess the tact necessary to deal effectively with shareholders, patients, third party payors, hospitals, physicians, employees, and professionals. Possess the ability to think clearly and to make appropriate decisions in carrying out the duties of the position. Possess a knowledge of modern office equipment, systems, and procedures.
