Revenue Cycle Specialist Onet-Systems New Hyde Park, NY 11040 We are an established out-of-network medical billing company located in New Hyde Park, Long Island, seeking experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. This position requires well-rounded knowledge of the revenue cycle process including pre-submission review, claim submission and follow-up. This role is responsible for managing the revenue cycle process while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities include insurance verification, reviewing submitted claims for accuracy and completeness, investigating and resolving claim denials by analyzing documentation and using appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes, and working closely with providers, coders, and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and billing. You will ensure accurate, timely billing and reimbursement for services while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for tracking and documenting follow-up activities to ensure completion of work. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of navigating the complexities of healthcare billing and insurance systems to optimize revenue flow.

Qualifications and skills required:

High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years experience in medical billing Out-of-network billing experience strongly preferred Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service. Must be flexible and adaptable to various work environments Must be computer proficient
