We are looking for a detail-driven Director of Billing to oversee all aspects of revenue cycle management across our nursing home facilities. In this vital role, you’ll ensure timely reimbursement and support the financial health of our organization—so we can focus on delivering exceptional care to our residents. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the billing department, overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance claims across multiple facilities. Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and statements in compliance with payer regulations. Monitor A/R performance, resolve billing discrepancies, and oversee follow-ups on outstanding balances. Collaborate with facility teams, finance, and third-party payers to optimize collections and reduce denials. Maintain billing systems, ensure accurate documentation, and support audits and reporting needs. Develop policies and processes to improve billing efficiency and compliance. Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare billing, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care. In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing. Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, reimbursement practices, and payer regulations. Experience with billing systems such as PCC, MatrixCare, or similar platforms preferred. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
