CastleBiosciences.com Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Reimbursement Specialist, Payment Poster working remotely from your home office based in the USA, with a start date prior to July 17, 2025.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A
Reimbursement Specialist, Payment Poster, This individual handles posting and balancing payments, adjustments, and insurance transactions for laboratory claims. They communicate with patients and clinician offices about outstanding balances, generate patient statements, and client invoices. The ideal candidate has strong skills in posting receipts and collections to meet productivity goals. Their main tasks include accurately posting financial transactions, following established policies, assisting with month-end reconciliation, and retrieving remittance advice from various sources. They review payment documents, assign codes, and take action in the billing system. They identify underpaid claims and start the appeal process, initiate monthly client invoices, and follow up on them. They contact patients about insurance payments and outstanding balances, assist with bad debt processing, and generate patient statements. They consistently meet productivity and quality standards, collaborate to improve workflows, participate in reconciliation processes, and handle ad-hoc tasks. They also research payer websites for payment details and obtain Explanation of Benefits documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Experience collaborating with patients, providers, and insurance plans throughout the revenue cycle.
Minimum one year of experience in a Reimbursement Specialist role with one company.
Ability to complete 50-60 transactions per day, comprised of authorization submissions, follow up, and incoming prior authorization correspondence.
Typing speed of 35 or more words per minute, with 90% or greater accuracy. •Please see the full success profile at the end of the job ad.
