Onsite 5 days We are looking for an AP Analyst to join our team. The Accounts Payable Analyst will assist the finance team by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payment disbursements, and account reconciliations during a peak period or temporary coverage need. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders and receipts, and obtain necessary approvals Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding invoice or payment issues Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 requirements Communicate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation Respond to vendor inquiries and ensure professional and timely resolution Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable Support audits by providing documentation related to payables Perform other accounting support duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting support role Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Familiarity with general accounting practices and procedures Comfortable working in a temporary position and adapting quickly to new systems and processes
