We are seeking a Billing Specialist with expertise in mental health and substance abuse billing. This position offers an opportunity to join a team that prioritizes its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and Manage client claims both electronic and paper Ability to work well with others and to assist the team in the greater goal. Ability to convey information effectively to our clients. Reports to work on time and as scheduled: completes work within designated time. Maintain patient confidentiality. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple accounts as well as strong follow through skills Knowledge of current CPT, HCPCS, and

ICD-10-CM

codes Experience in Medicaid Billing Strong knowledge of payer websites for claim status and verification. Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel Working knowledge in various EMR systems

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical billing, preferably with a specific focus on mental health/substance abuse billing.
• Familiarity with billing software and proficiency in MS Office.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance procedures, payer regulations, and compliance guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
