coding 1 year Paralegal experience Paralegal Certificate Full Job Description Paralegal (Personal Injury) The Gamache Law Firm is seeking a full-time experienced personal injury paralegal for our Moncks Corner office.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing scheduling/calendaring/docketing of matters, answering and directing phone calls, drafting documents, and other administrative duties as required.
• Communicating verbally and in writing with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters and attorneys in a professional manner.
• Maintaining and updating client files, requesting medical records and bills, coordinating with healthcare providers, and health insurance carriers including Medicare/Medicaid.
• Analysis of medical charges and billing codes for medical treatment provided to persons injured in accidents to accurately determine medical bills that need to be reimbursed from a potential settlement
• Assisting with the reduction of Medical Bills for settlements, reconciling PIP payments and subrogation liens.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years of applicable experience, the ability to work independently and a strong desire to excel in a fast-paced, client-focused, work environment. Salary is commensurate with experience. Familiarity with ICD 10 and CPT codes a plus.
