Salary Range:

Who are we looking for? As a Billing Specialist, you will maximize customer reimbursement, review client fee schedules and account receivables and provide recommendations as appropriate. A portion of your role will be responsible for invoicing, creating and/or sending reports, and updating patient records. The Billing team investigates issues, helps to identify root causes, and communicate possible solutions to customers/sales reps. You must possess a high level of customer service and be comfortable engaging with cross functional teams and Sr. Leadership. You may be hired as a Billing Specialist, or Sr. Billing Specialist based on your depth of skill and breadth of experience. What will you do?

Manual Pricing Release:

Order entries
Process and follow up on claim submissions and denials with clients and patients
Identify billing errors; follow up and resolve issues
Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Comply with productivity standards, including call time, documentation requirements and follow up communication requirements
Monitoring an email inbox, uploading documents, and fixing billing errors This is an onsite position in our Charleston, SC office. What education and experience do you need? A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered: High School Diploma required; advanced education and/or degree preferred
2+ years experience in medical billing preferred
2+ years experience with insurance carriers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding

What does the position pay: Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
