We arecurrently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the roleof Billing and Lease Analyst within our Accounting Finance team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned professional with astrong background in accounting, billing, lease reporting, andcommercial real estate. The successful candidate will beresponsible for the preparation of portfolio, lease, and occupancyinformation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This rolerequires a deep understanding of Advanced MS Excel including PivotTables, Lookups, and Data Tables.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze andinterpret lease documents, abstracts, and amendments for financialimpact and reporting implications. 2. Prepare, review, anddistribute monthly billing statements based on lease terms. 3.Prepare and maintain portfolio, lease, and occupancy information,ensuring data accuracy and integrity. 4. Perform monthly accountreconciliations and resolve any discrepancies. 5. Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure lease agreements are in compliancewith GAAP. 6. Create and maintain complex financial models usingadvanced MS Excel functions. 7. Assist in the development andimplementation of policies, procedures, and systems to streamlinebilling and lease reporting processes. 8. Participate in specialprojects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing andlease analysis, preferably within the commercial real estateindustry. 3. Strong understanding of GAAP and its application tolease agreements. 4. Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel includingPivot Tables, Lookups, and Data Tables. 5. Exceptional analyticalskills with the ability to interpret complex lease documents. 6.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 7.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectivelyinteract with all levels of the organization. 8. Ability to managemultiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently, andmeet tight deadlines. 9.
