Description We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and efficient billing operations while leveraging specialized software systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a background in accounting or financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process billing tasks using computerized systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Utilize accounting software and tools such as Epic Software, EHR systems, and ADP Financial Services to maintain efficient workflow.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Respond to inbound calls professionally, providing assistance related to billing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and billing processes.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and prepare reports as required.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies in billing and account statements.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations in all billing activities.
- Contribute to the optimization of billing processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Epic Software and EHR systems.
- Experience with ADP Financial Services and computerized billing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to professionally handle inbound calls and inquiries.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving processes.
- Prior experience in billing or accounting roles preferred.
