Billing Specialist We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to support our nonprofit healthcare client in making a difference. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about serving your community, apply to be considered to join their mission driven team! The position is hybrid with and in-office training period then after training switches to 1 day in office per week, 4 days remote. This opportunity is a temporary to hire role.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Submission and tracking to P-status, of Hospice Notice of Election (NOE) within the 5-day regulatory requirement – Review of claim hold/errors – Hospice Medicare claims review and submission Auto-post payment review and work any account not fully paid. Follow-up on aged accounts Process and post payments, adjustments, and denials with accuracy and care Collaborate with billing and finance teams to ensure revenue integrity Review and reconcile accounts to support month-end close Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation for compliance Provide excellent internal and external customer service

Matrix Care Inovalon Medicare DDE Qualifications:

Must have Medicare billing experience Experience w/ P-Status form (highly preferred) UB Medicare (Experience required) Healthcare industry experience required, Hospice experience highly preferred Good computer skills to navigate multiple systems and web-based data basis Strong Problem-solving skills #
