We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credentialing and Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in medical billing and credentialing, with a strong working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (ECW) . This role also requires excellent customer service skills to professionally and empathetically interact with patients regarding billing and insurance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform provider credentialing and re-credentialing with insurance payers. Handle full-cycle medical billing using eClinicalWorks (ECW). Process insurance claims and manage denials and appeals. Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical billing and credentialing. Proficient in using eClinicalWorks (ECW) software. Strong knowledge of insurance processes and payer requirements. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred:
Bilingual abilities (a plus but not required). Certification in medical billing or coding.
