We’re looking for a dependable and friendly Customer Service Collections Representative to join our team and help us continue providing excellent customer service. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Collections Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by effectively handling collections and resolving any discrepancies. Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries in a professional, helpful manner Manage and update customer accounts including reaching out to customers with outstanding debts via phone, email, or mail to discuss payment options and resolve issues.
Work with customers to create and implement payment plans that meet both the customer’s needs and the company’s requirements Perform accurate data entry and maintain records Process customer payments and provide receipts Reach out to customers regarding their accounts, payments, and other follow-ups Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate when necessary Maintain detailed logs of conversations, transactions, and updates Support other administrative tasks as needed Prepare and submit regular reports on collection activities and accounts receivable status. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles. Familiarity with financial software relevant to collections and billing processes. Excellent math skills for accurate account management. Prior experience in customer service roles, particularly in a collections environment. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele while maintaining professionalism.
