What you’ll do (mostly this…other duties may be assigned): Handles a high volume of customer inquiries while ensuring each guest feels taken care of in a professional and friendly manner. Works with clients and vendors to validate and organize invoices, charge postings and payments. Communicates with groups regularly to ensure deadlines are met and the cancellation policy is understood Provides a warm welcome to groups and acts as the main point of contact; coordinates VIP deliveries and organize welcome reception as appropriate. Reserves and confirms rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary. What you should bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree preferred 1+ years’ experience in a similar role, office environment Preferred hotel experience, preferably with a Marriott or Hilton Brand Professionalism Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
